Hey’ what’s good! You might ask? The Pay-out Skate contest or the Last Call best trick contest….Mmmm or how about listening to The Beatnuts and having a couple of drinks, while this all goes down? Does that wet your appetite’ It definitely does for the Freedom Fighter Crew. See you there!!?!

Ever since Willy started riding for us he hasn’t let up’ and it seems that I’ve got something new from him every other day. We have some big things planned  for this summer and it seems like willy might have a couple of tricks up his sleeve as well. So, you’re just gonna have to be on the look out for when, what and where he’ll hit up next.

A quick update! After paying for the space and such it’s looking like a couple of thousand dollars has been raised for PMHF and rising’ The remaining pieces will be showing at Echelon in London Ontario and hopefully more will be raised. There are still some pretty incredible decks left, surprisingly. For being the first Disposable Show it went amazingly! You all made it the event not to miss and if you did!? Well, there’s always next year. After the London show the cheque with the final tally will be written and hand delivered. Thanks again so much to everyone for the support!

Willy LavigneIt’s true’ Willy Lavigne has joined the Freedom Fighter team. After a meeting over a few brews and seeing eye to eye on just about everything it seemed to be the perfect fit. The only thing I have to say is watch out! Willie is on a rampage to rip it and go big or go home and I don’t see him going home anytime soon. This kid means business.

Lance Rowbotham

Hey, so a couple weeks ago I met one of the fine folks from Echelon and as the weekend rolled on and we were parlaying. Lance and I came to the conclusion that we need to work together on something’ So first off we’ll be showing the Disposable Art Show in London Ontario at Echelon on June 5th & 6th. With a few more projects to follow.  I’ll keep you posted with more info as the dates get closer or you can always check the link to echelon above.

The wrap party for The DISPOSABLE ART show was this past Saturday. Along with the Blind video Premiere, which was off the hook. The Bait Shop was packed, with kids crammed everywhere and anywhere. If you missed it? Then Shitty’ but you can always pick it up this Friday at your local shop. The night was also host to the launch for the new King Shit Mag in print. If you haven’t seen it or picked one up, you should do so asap. The layout and art direction is pretty sweet and they’re a bunch of rad dudes. Who are definitely killing it’ Thanks again to everyone that came out and supported! overview

The space is definitely off the wall and all the work displayed is absolutely amazing. If you have any extra cash and want to own an original by any of these great photographers, you better act quick! Or if you want to swing by and check out their works, it’ll be showing till May 29th. I was lucky enough to talk with Jamel Shabazz and as you can only imagine’ he’s one of the most realest and nicest people you’ll ever meet. By the end of our talk we came to the conclusion that we’ll be working on a project together in the near future. Yup! that right! So, be on the lookout for it in the months to come.
