Just finishing up the new site, which means getting a few last-minute photos. After some running around and meeting up with one of our comrades/riders at the court-house(don’t ask). we then caught up with a few friends and took a few photos. Here’s some of the out takes.

Sean Killen (of Bikes on Wheels) was nice enough to hook me up with some fresh new Vans and take a few photos of him sporting the slim white & red logo tee.

Tracy (of Playdead) is looking good slipping off the curb in the new women’s heather grey/red logo tee.

Greg (of The Bait Shop) and I were going over some strategies. After a quick break I mentioned taking his photo and……..here he is in the cool grey/red logo tee.

Wes (of Cons) stopped by to see if the video would play for the Trapasso pro shoe model release party, and it did. Looked pretty good too!

I liked this photo of Willy, but it didn’t quite work for what we had in mind. So here it is.

This project, believe it or not has been a long time coming! Brad and the TLG crew have been doing skate events for some time now. When we were asked to be a part of the Ridin’ For Riches skate comp last summer we said yeah. Everything went off swimmingly and from there we started talking about the project at hand. After many a parties thrown by them with us as a sponsor and helping spread the word of the gents. We got down to talking about a collaboration. What started out as a completely different project with another artist attached about 9 months ago has made its way here! With Bowman doing a few changes to the concept and delivering some super high-end caricatures of The Gents(TLG) and the Freedom Fighter comrades as Guerillas gorillas holding down the fort. Bowman being Bowman, yet again turned out a pretty amazing piece of art. (Click Deck to Enlarge)

After Bowman had already banged this out I knew I wanted to do stickers and maybe a banner. With this in mind I made a quick email and a few days later we met up for a cup of coffee at Cinnamon Girls. A great little sweets and coffee shop in the west end. Where Bowman has some of his pieces hanging as well. After what seems to be my best meal of the day(a coffee) and good conversation. We exchanged envelopes yet again, and the result was some more art for a shiny new banner that debuted at this years Disposable show and some stickers to coincide with the project at hand.

After a busy day of meetings print shops shipping and dropping off decks, it’s nice to relax. What better way to relax than good company, bad television and making a few hundred buttons. These are the gorilla buttons for our Bowman x TLG project coming this Spring.

I stop in to see my Gold Smith and good friend Elana( of kvell and co) hoping my new jewels might be ready. Lucky enough they were and they looked amazing as always. This is the third run of the Short Range Bazooka Trooper that comes with the FF logo tag and ball chain in 925 Sterling Silver. This time around we also have Single chains with tags available.

Spent Monday running around and then relaxed and watched the last few episodes of Dexter Season 4, and started my button makin’ Here’s some new colorways of the FF logo. New designs and Round Two to follow.

From the header you may have noticed that these photos were some what shelved. Not on purpose! but these photos are from a series done for the new site(still in progress) and that’s why. I was lucky enough to have Chris and Amanda come by and help me with this shoot, especially because it was a little last-minute.  Can’t thank everyone enough and just wait to see what else Viktor came up with.

A lot more to come with the new site and shoots for the Spring & Summer lines.
