Team Riders

Took me a minute or two but it finally happened. After  my meeting with Nick from Free Skates today, I headed over to my local mom and pop convenience store to pick up the latest issue of Snowboard Canada magazine. In support of my comrade and team rider Smolik. Who has an artist profile in it. You can either go check out or take a minute to read here. Oh’ as well he has a video part that Momar filmed that can be seen HERE.

I’m also meeting up with Mr. Helstren this Saturday to go over the FF x Smolik collabo. After working together at Manifesto this past fall, we knew we wanted to work on another project, and I think we found the perfect one.

It only made sense to add my good comrade Smolik to the FF team. He’s one of the coolest, laid back and chill people I know, but when he gets going watch out! Perfect fit and great addition. Just wait till you see what he comes up with next! Here he is above and below mid session on the new mini. Welcome aboard!

Freedom Fighter would like to wish it’s rider Willy Lavigne a Happy Birthday!!!!!!!! I hope you have a good session today and stay out of trouble tonight. I guess, I’ll have to wait and see how the night plays out. Above is his part from the BLTwo video. Enjoy!

So, it’s always nice to get emails from Freedom Fighter alumni Sean Fagan. Here’s a photo of young(I mean 2 & a half year old) Hensley. This was taking after his last session in the pool. I can’t wait to see his boy in 5 or 6 years, and yes he’s named after the man Matt Hensley himself. Here’s a couple of flashback videos. Remember the name Hensley Fagan!

No posts this past weekend because we were gone fishing, literally. Or at least Willy was. I think he’s found a new past time. Hahaha, just kidding’ he’s still rippin’

photoIt’s a good look!                                     *No fishes were killed in the taking of this photo

I’ve been sleeping on posting the last while, but that’s only b/c I’ve been super busy!! It’s all gonna change tho’ not the busy part but most definitely the posting.

This past Friday had an event with TLG and King Shit mag. If you missed out shitty’ because something that started out a little chaotic ended up being a banger! The Beatnuts killed it’ and the blackjack skate comp/best trick all came together in the end.

Hammer board shop ended up being the big winners taking home all prizes in the comp and Dan Arget with best trick. Congrats’ homies’

You have to checkout the next “The Lovely Gentlemen’s club” event. It’s at the Sound-Academy on June 21 for Go Skateboarding Day.

Ever since Willy started riding for us he hasn’t let up’ and it seems that I’ve got something new from him every other day. We have some big things planned  for this summer and it seems like willy might have a couple of tricks up his sleeve as well. So, you’re just gonna have to be on the look out for when, what and where he’ll hit up next.
